Apollo Tyres and its Malaysia’s central region distributor Chuan Ann Tayar (M) Sdn Bhd, which covers the Klang Valley, came together to celebrate the Chinese New Year with a reunion dinner at the Kuala Lumpur Tower on 6th January, 2019. About 100 dealers attended the event.
“Having done the highest ‘Lou Sang’ with Chuan Ann Tayar and its dealer and enjoying the day view of Kuala Lumpur city from the Kuala Lumpur Tower in January 2018, this year we decided to be captivated by the night view of Kuala Lumpur city. This is the second year we host this event with Chuan Ann Tayar and it shows that we are very sincere in forging long-term partnerships with our distributors,” said Victor Siew, Divisional Head of Apollo Tyres Malaysia, in his opening speech.
He revealed that that the company’s strategy was to work with partners who were not only focused on pricing but were willing to build the Apollo brand by implementing their exciting promotional programmes and marketing activities. In 2019, he stressed that the company’s team would continue to introduce more exciting marketing activities to support Apollo’s distributors and dealers.
The exciting gifts and promotion to welcome the New Year included a lucky draw to reward the dealers with attractive prizes, and the Grand Prize was a luxury trip to Taj Mahal.
Chuan Ann Tayar is one of the most established and respectable tyre wholesalers in the Klang Valley with a long history of dealing with major tyre brands. Led by the strong leadership of husband-and-wife team of Tom Chin and Grace Ewe, Chuan Ann Tayar today is an important key distributor of Apollo tyres covering the central region.
Grace said: “We have been in the tyre wholesale business for more than 45 years and we have built up a strong base of loyal customers who trusts us to supply them with good quality products. Our customers are very happy with the quality of Apollo tyres and the repeat orders are very encouraging.
