Automotive Recycling Roundtable Details Announced for 2016

Hosted once in every 18 months by the respective members of Global Automotive Recyclers Alliance (GARA), the IRT event provides a crucial platform:

  • to discuss on issues pertaining to the global auto recycling
  • to showcase the local and global industry best practices
  • to share and exchange ideas, emerging technologies, business opportunities, regulatory trend
  • to showcase investment opportunities in Malaysia’s auto recycling industry to overseas participants
  • 300 international elite delegates from Canada, USA, Australia, EU, China, Japan, Korea as well as Malaysians from the auto recycling background, industry officials, government agencies & guest speakers will be attending the event.

This year, the 4D3N IRT event will include a 1.5 days conference, factory visits, 1 networking dinner & 1 IRT GALA Dinner. Malaysia, as the 1st timer host of IRT 2016, Mr Gwee Bok Wee, CEO of Sendok Group which is also the founder of MAARA hopes the IRT 2016 can promote the concept of auto recycling to the locals & it will be organized as good as it was held in the other countries at the same time promoting the historical Malacca to the world. In this IRT, the standards on the Management System of 4R2S (Recycling, Remanufacturing, Reuse, Repair ;Service, Spare Parts) which will be finalized in June will also be discussed. Malaysia is also the 1st country to be setting the MS system on 4R2S in the world.
